Been really exploring my guitar lately, and I've been happy with the progress I've been making. I've been Learning a lot of new things by forcing myself to think outside the box, and it's definitely been giving me a lot of material to write songs with. I wanted to go through some of my more recent poems and such - since they're the most emotionally fresh, and thus easiest to write with - and put some music behind them. So most recently, I've made a few I'm somewhat proud of: 'Stay', 'Cigarettes and Soap', ' For One Day', & 'Fire and Thunder'. 

If anyone's interested I'd be more than happy to share, on the condition you trade me criticisms and thoughts. Obviously just basement quality recordings as usual, but its something. 

Thinking about putting out a little 4-5 track EP, just me and my guitar. I've got a coupe of the song on my soundcloud, check them out and let me know what you think!

I'm working for a music exposure/promotion company now called musicbrackets.com. It's a website centered around the idea that you shouldn't need a fat wallet or a famous uncle to get your music heard. Right now it's super beta, but we're re-launching the site in the coming month. So if anyone out there reading this is or knows of someone who is an independent musician or in a small-time band that needs help getting more plays, fans, or opportunities, tell them to talk to me! Everything is free of course, and the process is pretty quick and pain-free to sign up on the site and upload all your material. 
In addition to the basic reverbnation-esque website, we're starting to film a TV show that's gonna showcase music videos from the site and artist interviews we'll be conducting. And of course, these are both open to everyone.
Lastly, there's going to be a battle of the bands feature on the site that pits band against band in a random-seed fashion so the band with the most fans doesn't just automatically win. Anyway, if anyone has any questions or whatever, just hit me up
